1871 Census - Manchester
Mollard - Edwin age 22 - Soda Water Maker Head
Mollard - Lucy age 20 Wife
Mollard - James son 0
Edwin Mollard married Lucy Connor Sep1/4 1869 (Manchester Cathedral - 27 July 1869)
James born Dec 1/4 1870 - 8c/663
James died June 1/4 1883 age 13 - 10a/27 Stockton
1881 Census - 49 Baxter Street, Hulme - Manchester
Mollard - Edwin age 32 Head
Mollard - Florence age 26 wife
Mollard - Edwin age 6
Mollard Walter age 16
Mollard - Henrietta age 3
Holt - Harriet - visitor - widow - age 70 - dressmaker born Salford
I take it that Walter is the son from the first marriage.
I have found the birth of Florence Mollard nee Wood c: 22 Oct 1843 Manchester Cathedral : Father Walter Wood Mother Henrietta.
My problem is: When did Lucy die or did she leave? When did Edwin marry Florence Wood and where? If Lucy died - when and where?
Edwin and Lucy/Florence had 19 children, 10 of which died. According to the 1911 , though a widower, it has married 42yrs crossed out on the form. Florence Mollard died Jun 1/4 1899 - 8c/409 Chorlton aged 40
