Cork / Cudmore
« on: Thursday 02 August 12 04:25 BST (UK)  »
Good Affternoon,
I am wondering whether anyone may be able help me with one of my family lines.

I have noted that there was an Edm'd Cudmore who was a farmer in Longueville Co Cork around the 1760's (which I have just found).  My Gggrandmother was Mary Ann Cudmore and on her Immigration Papers (21 July 1841 on board the "Helen") she stated that her parents were Edmund/Edward Cudmore and Mary/Margaret Kelly of Co Cork.  She was born c ?1817 and she married Samuel Agnew in The Church of Ireland  15 April 1837 Co Cork.   I have also noted that Samuel was from Longuevile although he was born in Scotland.  His mother died possibly in child birth and his father remarried (his father being James Agnew).  I have been trying to find out more on the Cudmore family for nearly 17years and have always hit a brick wall.
I would appreciate any help I can get with this family.

Australia / Would anyone be able to help with George
« on: Saturday 21 July 12 04:27 BST (UK)  »
Hi,
I am looking for the correct death of George.

What I have is:
George Morris born 1831 Stanwick Northamptonshire England.  He came to Australia with brother Jesse.  Their parents were George and Elizabeth Morris - only trouble is I have found 2 death records 1911 Canterberry and 1915 Liverpool and they both have parents George and Elizabeth.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi All,
I am looking for what happened to Charlotte - in the 1851 census - Stanwick,  I have James 36, Alfred 9yrs, Charlotte 7yrs, Sarah 68yrs (mother of James) - no mention of James' wife.  James died 1853.  I then found Charlotte in the 1861 census - Wellingborough living with Dinah March 53yrs, Susannah March 19yrs, Charlotte Chamlinlan 17yrs and Anthony Bird 69yrs.  Charlotte is listed as Niece.  From 1861, Charlotte has literally disappreared.  Any help greatly appreaciated.

Hi,
Rootschatters have helped me with Abel Morris and many thanks.  Have gathered a fair amount now on him, Caroline (nee Youle - wife) and Jesse, son.
Now, just wondering whether I can get some help with their second child Charles Edwin Morris born 20 June 1852 Wellingboro.  Abel (father) died 1856 and we found Jesse in the 1861 Workhouse Census Wellingboro, but cannot find Charles. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
