I would like to make contact with any descendants of James Daly Harley, b. ca 1836 in Jersey, Channel Islands according to the 1851 UK Census Lambeth Surrey. I believe that he may have migrated to Australia in accordance with the NSW Aust. Unassisted Immigration Passenger List 1826-1922.

Thomas Henry Russell married Valeria Vassall Samms Harley on 5 July 1854 in the parish church, Hammersmith, County of Middlesex. Their children were: Percy James b. 1859; Herbert Cecil b. 1860; Frank Octavius b. 1861; John Stuart b. 1864; Ernest Harley b. 1865; Studley T. b. 1867; Valeria Vassall Samms b. 1870 and Harold b. 1871 - all registered in Lambeth.

My husband is the grandson of Frank Octavius.

I would be more than glad to have contact with anyone who may be researching any of the above.

James RUSSELL was born ca 1797 and christened on 22/10/1797 at Hertford, Hertfordshire. His wife Mary Ann (name unknown) was born ca 1791 (place unknown). I am searching for a record of their marriage should it have taken place in Hertfordshire. Their first known child, James, was born in Hammersmith in 1823. With thanks to anyone who can help.

James RUSSELL was born ca 1797 and christened on 22/10/1797 at Hertford, Hertfordshire.
His wife Mary Ann was born ca 1791 (place unknown).
I am searching for a record of their marriage should it have taken place in Hertfordshire.
Their first child, James, was born in Hammersmith in 1823.

James Russell married Mary Cawthorne in the Parish of Camberwell, County of Surrey, on 26 March 1818. The marriage record states that James Russell was of 'this Parish'. I also hold the burial record for James. He was buried at St Paul, Hammersmith, on 7 October 1843 (ref: DD/746/61). I am hoping that someone could help me to find the record of birth of James Russell.

James Russell was a tenant of Kincraig farm in Fife. His wife was Elizabeth (nee Couper). They had fourteen children. Philip (b. 1822?) and Thomas (b. 1828) were the sixth and seventh sons. I'd be grateful to learn the names and birth years of the other children.

James Russell was born on 16 October 1796 and christened on 26 October 1796 United Presbyterian, Spittall, NORTHUMBERLAND. I am seeking a record of his marriage to Mary Ann ? and would also be grateful to receive details of his parents James and Jane RUSSELL. Other children were John (b. 04/03/1793; c. 21/03/1793) and Jane (b. 11/04/1795; c. 16/04/1795)

Thank you aghadowey for your recent message. This item now has been completed. I was very lucky in that a cousin (removed) in Australia responded to my message and I was able to take advantage of his research. Do I need only to add 'COMPLETED' on the original message to remove it?
