US Completed Requests / Francis James Badge *COMPLETED*
« on: Monday 26 July 10 16:03 BST (UK)  »
Francis James BADGE was born Oct 28, 1876 in Hiago Japan, baptised Dec 31, 1876 in Kobe, Japan (IGI Pilot) then came back to Engand (1901 census).  He made two or three tris tp New York before marrying Florence A UNKNOWN sometime around 1910, probably in Connecticut.

I would really appreciate help finding this marriage and then looking for the family in the 1920 and 1930 cencuses.

I also don't know what Francis' occupation was and when or where he and his wife died.

Could SKS help with any of these details?

Many thanks in advance,

AllanR

Hi Martin,

I don't have a lot to add to what has been found before in this thread.

http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=recordimage&c=fs:1783956&r=r_788980374&pn=p2

This URL refers to Alfred Ernest's birth - it is he who married Isabella Harriett (Bella) Roseveare, the main interest for me.

Sorry if I raised your hopes!

Hi Martin,

Thanks for your message!  Our link is tenuous, but that matters little.  I am a little pushed for time, so will you excuse me and I promise to reply at length over the next few days.

Good to make contact and will speak to you soon.

Henry JENKIN emigrated to London, Ontario sometime before 1919 when his widowed sister, Mary Elizabeth OUGH, and her 3 children, joined him.

I am looking for the date he arrived in Canada - his occupation in 1920 was a tailor, living at 388 William Street, London.

Many thanks in advance,

Hi Lisa,

This looks like the Harry I am researching - so would love a copy of the manifest.  Was he accompanied by his sisters?

Narelle,

Alfred Ernest or Ernst (Alfie) Gye was born September 26, 1869 in Nagasaki, Japan.
He died in the December Quarter of 1909 in Rochford District, Essex.

I am also related to the Roseveares of Quethiock, through my mother's line.
