In my tree, I have a Florence Goatley b.1880, Brixton, daughter of Edward & Marie, who married George Frederick Woolhouse in 1900.  I'm in contact with their grandson who has a lot of memories of the area, so if Robert is related do contact me as I can put you in touch with him.

bumping this thread. My husband is related to the Woolhouse you mention here and we are having great difficulty tracing anything past George. Any help you may give us would be so appreciated!

Whoops! Typing when tired does not mix. Thank you for spotting that :)

The more I look at that there is something definitely wrong with the people - dates are all wrong. Back to the drawing board and start from scratch me thinks.  ::)

The only info I have of them is from other family trees on ancestry.com so I cannot guarantee the accuracy of it but this is what I do have:

Marriage: 1796 Liverpool, Lancashire, England

Children: Margaret - b 5 Feb 1797
               Grace - b 18 Jul 1798 d. 15 Sep 1838 - Liverpool
               William  - b 13 Jun 1803  d 1871
               Hugh  - b 1809 d 1896

Sorry if it is in in the wrong area

Still digging away at the family tree, now looking at the Loughlins. I have traced them back from Australia to what appears to be Liverpool.

I have a John Loughlin who was born approx 1780. He was married to Grace Dobson. He died at 26 New Bird Street Liverpool. Father was Hugh Loughlin,  and mother was Margeret.

Trail gone cold. Anyone have any ideas or have stumbled upon them in their digging?

I have an update.

The 1901 Census had a hit with Florence Woolhouse. Married to Fred. Lived in Ecclesfield, Yorkshire. I think this is them!!!
