« on: Thursday 04 May 17 09:32 BST (UK)  »
Hi
I have part of my family who emigrated to Pennsylvania in 1879- The family were Robert Ackinclose and his wife Susannah and children William Foster, Jane Foster Mary Duxfield and Katie and they settled in Jefferson Fayette. They had more children who were born in the USA Thomas Foster Garnet Wolsey, George and Murrel Robert.

I would love any information at all about this family- I have records from online but any other information would be great- I am looking for a marriage between William Foster Ackinclose and Elizabeth Debelle Moore in around 1895- not sure where they married they had three children Foster Murrel, Minor and Robert I think they lived in McKeesport.

thanks a lot any information at all would be great

Hi everyone
I am really grateful for your help- Catherine's maiden name is McGrath. She married John SCOTT in St Mary's Chapel St John the Evangelist Brecknock Wales. John was a soldier in the 25th Regiment of Foot. 21 April 1842. Hence the various birthplace of the siblings Etterick was born Bangalore Madras India. Would love to know where you found the birth entries with McGrath as mother's maiden name- just for my information!! I will order the birth certificate for George and see where it takes me! Thank you all again.

Hi
The Scott family are again causing me problems!! I have William George Scott baptism records from Ancestry stating he was born 21 April 1859 and baptised 22 May 1859 Wesleyan Methodist Church Blyth and Seaton Delaval Circuit son of John Scott and Catherine- I tried to get birth certificate in an attempt to find an address for the family who have spent 15 years in India and moved north from Chatham Kent. General Records Office has no record does anyone have any ideas where I can look - the 1861 census has there address is Ironworks Bedlington.

Williams first wife died 1778 - Hannah and William had a daughter Margaret born 1780 so tried to find the marriage between those dates

Hi
My 5x great grand father William Scott born 1736 Ellingham NBL married Elizabeth Nicholson who died 1778 He then had three children to a second wife Hannah Weatheritt  but I cannot find a birth or marriage for her! William died 1806 and in his will makes provision for her and leaves an annuity so they must have married. Hannah died 1827 she was living with her daughter at White House Folly near Alnwick.  Can anyone help with a birth or marriage Thanks

Hi Ken
Thank you so much for this! It ties up with his children's births and deaths.  Ettrick his son who survived was born Bangalore 1850- will try and get death certificates for two of the children who died within two weeks of each other in 1854 - Do you think it likely his wife and child travelled with him to India on the Repulse or would that be later they had only been married a few months and the child would be 1 year old?

My husband and I are planning a trip to Berwick Barracks home to KOSB in next two weeks

Thanks again

Barbara
