Have you tried putting a letter in the Black Country Bugle ?? It might help - loads of people from all over the place read that.
Good Luck

Hi

Are you only interested in more information on John Watkins?

Anyway, I’ll just let you know that on checking the 1861 – 1901 census, I can’t find a likely match for John & Esther, but have found a Richard Watkins born Ludlow around 1849/50, who in 1861 is a servant and later becomes married to a Mary from Leicestershire.

Let me know if you would like the details of Richard and if you can supply more details for John & Esther (approx year of birth or place of birth), I’ll check again – if that’s any help to you.

Regards
John
Dear John,
Thank you for your quick response
The son Richard born abt 1850 was my great-great grandfather
He married Mary Ann Squires at Stanton Lacy in 1874
Any info you have would be very much appreciated

Hi,

I would be happy to swap details - how far down do you want to go?

I have an unbroken line down to my children, Sarah Green's g-g-g-grandchildren, although not with all details.

I can produce a gedcom file and email it to you, or if you'd prefer it in another format or as a report, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Many thanks,

Adrian

Hi,

I have a date for Sarah - June quarter 1889, Wolverhampton District (which included Bobbington where they were living).

I haven't managed to find a date of death for John Jordin, though.

hi,
Sarah was still alive in 1881, widowed, but living with family. I don't seem to have a date of death for her or her husband - any ideas ??
