Hi Annie, Yes thats their marriage,Mary Pavier has signes as one of the witness,s.
Looks as though the family moved around the country a fair bit.

Any sign of the Smiths?

I have just received the marriage certificate of a Percy Pavier,son of William Pavier and Elizabeth Emma Smith,daughter of Thomas Smith.
The marriage tok place in the Parish of Bulwell,Nottingham October 1912,and the ages of the bride and groom is shown as 22.

I wonder if someone could find the two families on the 1901 census please?

Hi Ambly,
In the 1861 census Charlie Jones is the head 45 widower
                            Willim Jones aged 12
                            David Jones aged  10
                            Charlie Jones aged 9

Charlie Jones was born in Hasley Warwickshire
All the sons were born in Handsworth Staffordshire

I have found one of my daughters Gt Grandfathers on her mothers side of her family in the 1861 census.

The listing reads James Walsh 55 Chelsea Pensioner born Ireland.

Any suggestions where I can find reords for Chlelsea Penioners welcome.

Is it possible to do a lookup in the 1861 census of Newington for a Elizabeth Ann Groves born cira 1853,daughter of a John Groves.
She married an Edward Richards in 1871 and by then her father was deceased.
Any help greatly appreciated.
