I think it say 39 years which would mean Henry would have been born around 1870.

Henry probably came out just after 1890, he was a miner at Clermont in 1895 before moving to Roma to work as a butcher for maybe for William.

Married Margaret Barrie in 1897

They had 2 children

James Stanley Roy in 1907
Laura Catherine May in 1909

Interesting for the birth registrations the mother is Margaret Annie Boyd not Barrie!

Henry died in 1909

Maybe this is a marriage for Emily and James in 1863.

From the Qld BDM records we see that Emily Lannam had parents f Culverhouse m Rachael Hopkins

Looking at FreeBMD in Engand a search under Lannam with a spouse Emily came up with James Lannam marriage Dec 1863 District of Croydon Vol 2A page 281.

Now looking under Emily Culverhouse with spouse James the same registration comes up Dec 1863 District of Croydon, Vol 2A page 281

So it looks like an Emily Culverhouse married a James Lannam in the December quarter 1863 at Croydon.

There also is a freeBMD birth registration for an Emily Culverhouse Dec 1842 District of Whitechapel Vol 2 Page 509.

This looks good good because Emily was reported to be 22 when she arrived in 1865.

There also is a freeBMD registration for a James William Lannam Mar 1842 District Bloomdbury Vol 1 Page 66.

This date matches the write up for James in the Aldine History of Queensland.

There is also under the freeBMD a birth registration for a Henry Albert Lannam in 1875 as follows Mar 1875 District of Lambeth Volume 1 Page 519.

This is a few years after James but on the Qld BDM they both have the same parents on the death registrations.
It could be that Henry Albert Lannam came out until around 1895.

Qld ER for 1895 has Henry Lannam as a miner at Clermont.

QLD ER for 1905 has Henry Albert Lannam at 52 Arthur St Roma as a butcher

Henry's brother James owned a butcher shop in Roma and he died in 1895 maybe Henry took over after James death!

Hi,

The Aldine History of Queensland by F Morrison in 1888 has a paragraph on James Lannam who eventually settled at Roma.  James was born in 1842 in Soho London and migrated to Queensland in 1865 arriving into Rockhampton.

Maybe his brother came with him!

Also.

The 1895 Qld Electoral Roll has a Henry Lannam 50 miner at McDonalds Flat in the Distrct of Clermont.
