House. Mid C17. Recased and extended both ends in late
C18/early C19 to form 3 cottages. Now onehouse. Late C19
roughcast casing. 2 storeys. 4 2-light glazing bar casements, 2
in centre, 1 to each hipped wing. French window in centre,
formerly a door, and doors at both ends, the three door openings
with bracketed tiled hoods. Dentilled brick eaves all round.
The central roof is slightly taller and has, on left, a dark red
brick chimney stack with 2 joined shafts and corbelled top.

Why not ask English Heritage why they were listed in the first place?
You may find enought for your needs or indeed know what you want next.

May I suggest that "Trish End" may be "Irish End"?

The Codicote Parish website (http://www.codicoteparish.net/) carries
"Most of the older houses in the High Street, and older parts of Heath Lane and St. Albans Road (the last named known as “Irish End”), were built in the 17th Century."

It's probably worth contacting them as their local history people seem knowledgable.
