Family History Beginners Board / Help - School Teacher???

On the 1911 census I have a Dennis Davies registered as a teacher in Stafford - is there any way i might be able to find any teaching records from that era? It doesn't say what school - only that employer is County Council and profession is class teacher!

I have a photograph of a gentleman who I believe to be Dennis (Denis) Davies - I know he served in WW1 registering with the South Staffs Reg TA in March 1915 and died 3rd July 1916, buried at Ervilliers. I believe this to be him as well but not sure where/when.
Any Help greatly appreciated!!
