Hi again Muss

Yes, I do know the biological father of the children and they did stay with their mother.

This has been a long and twisted path for me, so I was a little surprised when the name of Harold Barrett came up.  He was not the man that Hilda eventually married, nor was he the biological father.

Hi All
I am just going to throw this out to see if anyone knows anything about this person.

In 1913 Harold Barrett is listed as living Cnr Company and Robin St Exeter, his occupation is given as driver.  Harold is also listed on the Le Fevre School Attendance Records as being the parent or guardian of my grandfather, Zola Athos and his sister, Daphne.

I know that that Harold Barrett was not a parent to these children but it is highly likely that he was in a de facto relationship with their mother, Hilda Jarrett.

While this man is no blood connection to me, I would be interested to know if anyone knows anything about him.

Thanks

Thanks Muss and Sparrett.    It is definately Noel not Noelle, and I can guarantee that it is correct as I have her birth certificate and she was my husband's grandmother.  I dont' think she ever spelt it any other way, not even with the circumflect  .. (?) above the O.
I had all the electoral info, but interesting to note that Doris Lucy was the same age as one of his daughters.  From his movements, there is also a strong chance that Doris was one of Ernest's students.  At the very least, he would have known of her or the family.

Hi Muss,
Is that photo of Ernest Albert Coleman on Trove?

Can anyone help me?  Ida Muriel Lennox COLEMAN was granted a divorce from her husband, Ernest Albert COLEMAN in Western Australia in 1916 on the grounds of adultery and cruelty. I have found the transcripts in Trove.  From what I have found, it looks like Ernest later married Doris Lucy BRIGHT in Kalgoorlie in 1926.  I am interested in this marriage, but would also like to know what happened to the poor unfortunate Ida.  Did she re marry?  Ernest and Ida were from New South Wales originally and she may have returned. Ernest is my husband's great grandfather. Thanks guys, all help gratefully accepted.

Hi Bricks, it has been such a long time since I looked at this site that I had almost forgotten about it.  In reading your notes, is "Deggy" the William Charles Degenhardt that married Amy Fisher Morphett? If so, when and did they have any children together?  I would so love to have a copy of a photo of William, as he is my great grandfather, and by all accounts, quite a lad!  It would be interesting to swap any stories you have about this man!   Please contact me again.  Thanks

Thanks Kris
I have been off doing other things so haven't checked for a while. Looks like Amy was no shrinking violet either.  William does appear to have like children, just not paying for them! ;D
