Wow! that was quick, I think this might be him, except on your second replyyou mentioned West Sussex police ( he was a policeman  in West Suffolk) do you have any military details?

died in war I am looking for his regiment etc.

The only John Victor Daniel I can find, Yekepa, was born in Eastwood, Adelaide, South Australia in 1886.  He married in 1911 in Bury St Edmunds to Florence Mary Tasker, and they had a son Victor Thomas Tasker Daniel, born 2 Nov 1913 Bury St Edmunds; died 1916.  However, on his WW1 service records he gives his next of kin as his mother - Alice Maud Robinson of Regents Street, Stowmarket - younger siblings: Henry, Margaret & Maud.  His occupation was a Baker and he joined the Grenadier Guards in 1906.  He died 10 July 1916 West Suffolk Sanatorium, Bury St Edmunds.

Can anyone help on John Victor Daniel he served in WW1 and was the village policeman prior to that. in a village near to Bury St Edmunds.died in TB hospital in Bury St Edmunds after the end of WW!

Could anyone offer any help on tracing my Grandmothers family ?
All I have is Emily Spencer born 2 Dec. 1855 Tamworth, and her Mother being Ellen b 1826 Hednesford. Ellen was not married I have been led to believe.
I would appreciate any help Thanks
