I have found in 1939 register, my father's cousin and her husband living Vron, Station Road, Penygroes; Harold and Jennie Williams nee Evans, he was a civil engineer. He died c 1954, I haven't found a death for Jennie.

Is this house still there..................... :)

Caernarvonshire / Re: Llanllyfni address for Parry family

Sam,
I was given a little info on my ancestors and their connections to quarries in Caernarvonshire, including  Cloddfa'r Lon, by Dr. G.P. Jones, who has written about the quarries and the  managers.
Can't remember the name of the publication, sorry  :'(

Sam and Nesta,
Thank you both so much for your interest and help.  I don't know why I missed your replies; apologies for late reply.

There is an offer at the moment to upgrade to 2019 F.T.M. - I would appreciate views from posters who have upgraded and those who have decided not to.

Willyam,
Thank you for those details, very interesting.  I, too, could not find 1911 details for either of them.

Willyam,

St. John's Church, Broughton, Salford. 16 July 1917. Joseph - Railway fireman of 4 Hillon/Hilton St. Margaret, widow, waitress of same address.

Interesting that her deceased father, George Lowe, had been a railway employee.
