Have you considered George Garret... bapt at Easton -in- Gordano on 3 Oct 1830- son of George Garret and Mary Carpenter-.they resided at Pill, which is just down the River Avon from Bristol. George Snr was a carpenter.

In 1861 in Redcliff Square, Bristol is the following family:

George Selby, Labourer- born 1835, Bedminster, Bristol
Mary Anne Selby- wife -born 1836- St Mary Redcliff, Bristol
George- son- born 1854, Bedminster
James -son- born1857- Redclif
Charles-son born 1859- Redcliff

I can't find the birth registrations for any of the sons...so far!

The Carlisle Patriot in 1845 makes several references to Chambers' Dye works.

In 1851 there is a George Chambers-  A Dyer, born 1818, living in Castle Street , Carlisle.

Plymouth ,St Andrew's church has a baptism on 26 Dec 1808:
"Jos.h Skinner son of Jos.h and Mary Goodridge". It has been transcribed  as "Josh Skinner".

In the later census records, Joseph , born 1808 , is still in the parish of St Andrew's.

Marriage between Joseph Goodridge and Mary Skinner at St Andrew's 16 April 1800.

If you look at the first letter on "the "in the line above, it looks the same as the first letter of the missing word....so maybe that reads "thick" snow storm?

In 1901 at East Street, Crewkerne there is a Charlotte Harris, Servant , born 1881, Seavington St Mary. She is living with Simeon Raisen and family.

In Beaminster District, Q4 1904- Charlotte Harris marries Frederick Harwood

In 1911
Charlotte Harwood, b Seavington, with Frederick and Chldren at S. Perrett, Misterton

From FindMyPast- There is a William Stonehouse baptised 10 Oct 1736 at Lythe- son of Robert.

In Lythe on 20 May 1777, William Stonehouse marries Mary Sanderson.
