Norfolk / 1891 Census Help Please! Re: William and Isaac Cook.
« on: Saturday 09 October 10 18:36 BST (UK)  »
I was wondering if someone could help me please.

I have been looking for two brothers born in Watton, Norfolk by the Names of William James (1869) and Isaac J Cook (1872).

They appear on the 1881 census with their family in Saham Toney.

But not on the 1891 census.  The obvious answer would be that they had passed away.  However, they both appear on the 1901 census.

William in Paddington, London living as a boarder and working as a porter.  And Isaac with his wife Kate in Oxfordshire working as a Letter press printer.

I have searched for them all over the country and can't think of anything as to why they wouldn't be on the census.... (there were no wars etc)

Any help would be much appreciated!

Many thanks

Heya,

I've been looking for the parents of Eleanor Cook (Nee Dunnett).  Born 1749 died 1817.  Her husband was William Cook (married 1804) and they has three children called James (1808) William (1808?) Anne (1810) and Judith (1812).

Any help would be much appreciated!

Norfolk / Information on Robert Cook c1585
« on: Sunday 12 September 10 16:12 BST (UK)  »
Hiya!

So I have been doing research into my family history (I only began a week ago!) and have managed to do a direct line back to a Robert Cook who was married to Alicia (Died 1614).

However I would really like to know more information on their marriage births and deaths and their parents.

I know that they had three children called, Robert, Vincentius and Thomas.

But that is all.  Any information would be much appreciated thanks!

p.s. I think it would be around the Aylesham district!
