I'd like to add to this message that they were married in the Beath district of Fife in 1908.  Seeking the names of the parents of both John and Jean.  John was possibly a coal miner.

Hi everyone
thanks for the heads up...I'll certainly check out all the websites.  I don't know what it says on the census for 1901 - I don't have access to it ...if anyone can look them up I'd be so grateful!  Have a great day!

Seeking anyone who could give me info on the parents of Jean Malcom born 1885 in Dumferline or Cowdenheath.  She married John Honeyman early 1900's and their first daughter was born 1911 in Invergowrie Perthshire.  Is anyone able to check for her on the 1901 census in Fife?  Many thanks, if this is possible...I need a lead!

Perthshire / coal mining

I am curious about coal mining in the Perthshire area of Invergowrie in the early 1900's.  I am researching the John Honeyman family and he was supposedly a coal miner.  I was told he lived in Invergowrie and married Jean Malcom...their first child Jeanette was born in June of 1911.  Any light on this info would be a huge help.
