Surrey / Walworth Wesleyan Chapel - Baptisms
« on: Monday 22 August 22 22:01 BST (UK)  »
I found the baptism of an ancestor Emily Elizabeth Allen at Walworth Wesleyan Chapel in 1837 (RG4/4328).
I suspect that her siblings Charles, Isabella and Frances may also have been baptised there subsequently.
Would anyone happen to know where I might find the relevant baptism register for the same chapel / circuit (neither Lambeth Archives nor the LMA seem to have anything)?

Thanks,

richard

Would anyone be able to help me with monumental inscriptions for the Weatherby family at Leighton please. I can't seem to trace an MI survey for the graveyard. Thanks for any assistance or pointers,

Richard

Dear All,

Thanks for all your various thoughts. I must say that at this point I'm definitely won over by the case for Tollard, which to me seems the best fit and which I would never have arrived at on my own. A very quick search through the baptismal records doesn't show up anything straight away but I will persist and let you know if and when I find something.

Big thank you again

Dorset / Deciphering Birth Place in Dorset

Can anyone help with deciphering the birth place on the first line please. This comes from the 1851 census for Sarah Baron nee White (RG number: HO107; Piece: 1864; Folio: 358; Page: 29).

Thanks

Was wondering if I could rekindle willingness to check for these two burials.

Thanks,

Dear All,

I'm now pretty sure that this is Körnberger ... not what I had hoped for ... but at least mystery solved.

Thanks for your help

Hi there,

That'd be great, thanks a million.

I believe that Milton only opened much later - but could be wrong.

I'd be grateful if anyone could check for the following burials in Mile End cemetery - I've already excluded Kingston and Highland.

John Rogers: died 10 Feb 1866
Martha Rogers: died 3 Dec 1869
both of Bishop's Street, Portsea
