Cumberland / Trying to verify Elizabeth Bouch chr Dec 1844 Wigton

The nearest I can find is BMD Dec 1844 Wigton 25 p185 and it does not give parents
I am trying to confirm her mother was
Jane Bouch b 17 Feb 1822 Warwick, dau of John Bouch and Jane Atkinson.

As Dec is after Nov, I conclude the BMD Jane is a different Jane.
As it gives no parents anyway, I am stuck!
All suggestions received with thanks.

For anyone who wants to double check:

1851 census:
Thomas HO 107 / 2436 / 50 / 10
Mary HO 107 / 2437 / 252 / 20

1861:
Mary and Thomas RG 9 / 3944 / 34 / 4

1871:
Mary RG 10 / 5449 / 47 / 18
Thomas RG 10 4945 / 35 / 15

Mary dies in Whitehaven R.D. in 1871, and Thomas is a widower in 1881.

Very impressive, Jen - I so wish I could work so well and QUICK!
Have coppied it verbatim into my tree notes!

Thanks Jen, I now see how you do it.

I have Eleanor Fraser born 1856
The nearest I can find in BMD is born a year earlier. Is that "near enough" or can I hope for an exact match.
The recorded births are often got by subtraction but as Censuses are always early in the year this gives a birth date one year later than the probable true date.
Many thanks

Dear Jen
Please tell me the secret!
HOW do you know they are "Clearly the same person".

This sort of thing always baffles me - makes me miss a lot.
Many thanks

When I started this thread all I knew was "Mary of Seaton"
But spurred on by the excellent help given, on checking notes from my family I found "Mary Walker", so to reflect my uncertainty I wrote "Mary (Walker)"
Yes, as soon as I get birth certs it may clear up matters.
But I worry about Fraser vs Frazer.
Fraser seems to be far more common than Frazer in those parts of England.

Thanks JenB for pointing that out.
So the wife Mary (Walker) might have died after William Fraser's birth 1848 and before 1851.

Is the spelling Frazer vs Fraser of significance or is s vs z equally likely to be whatever the record?
