I haven't been able to view Harriet's will , just white pages downloaded !  Has anyone read it - just wanted to know if it mentioned any more children she may have had ...

Also, I found that a F. Wybrants attended the funeral of his brother Jonathan in 1883 in England - perhaps he went back to Ireland too.

Good news !  I have the right sister.  Father George died in 1831 and his wife Anna nee Sisson in 1847.  They married in 1806 and eldest son George Sisson Wybrants was born in 1809.  Anna spent most of her married life having children !!!

Australia / Harriett Wybrants / Frederick Wybrants
« on: Thursday 16 April 15 07:53 BST (UK)  »
Good Morning from France !
I am researching my Wybrants ancestors.  The family is originally from Ireland, father George... I already have several children and recently found a son, John Wybrants born 1813, who emigrated to Australia in 1839 and died in Bendigo in 1878.  I have a cutting from the Bendigo Advertiser, giving details of his life as a miner etc.  However, it also said that John "had a brother and sister in the colony" and I think they could be the above Harriett and Frederick...

I can't find anything at all about Frederick except his passage from to Melbourne on the ss Lorena, arriving in Feb 1853.  Harriett was on the same ship.  I have found a marriage in Victoria for Harriett to a Thomas Lowden, the information stops there.
I would like to be sure that Frederick and Harriett are John's siblings and if possible find out a little bit more about them, so any help would be really appreciated.

One last question !!  The man above with the navy cap , could he possibly be the same as the photo attached, at a later date ....  Difficult I know, but you have so much more experience than I do.
A thousand thanks for everything, I really appreciate all your advice.

As far as a date is concerned, do you think that this photo could be a child of the couple I already posted above ?
There is another child which I will give you in next post
