Ireland / Allan Family, Possibly Co.Down.
« on: Saturday 01 September 12 19:52 BST (UK)  »
Hello, Is anyone researching the Allan family, possibly Co.Down, all that I have is Sarah Allan married Bernard Clarke, I believe that they had a son, Samuel Clarke, born in 1865, possibly at Clough, Co.Down, not much to go on is it ?.........Del.

Tony, had a quick look, there are several John Robinson's, but can't see any with middle name Robert, however on S.P. there are 12 deaths for a John Robert Robinson, between 1950 and 2009, this is for the whole of Scotland though, I can't view them as am out of credits [I always am], hope of some use to you......Del.

Don't know why it won't work for you Tony, I'll have a look later for you, failing that your best bet would be Scotlands People     http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/     not free, but a really good site. ......Del.

Barbz, Not the easiest of names to track down John Green, just a thought , there is a Normanton near Rutland Water, allthough it probably comes under Leics. now, might be worth looking there,....Regards Del.

Hello Barbz, Yes that is him, Anthony was 68 years old when he married Elizabeth Atkinson, she was his 3rd wife, out of interest, what names are you looking for at Normanton ?.....Regards Del.

Norfolk / Re: Athow/Atthow/Eatough/Ayto Families

Meles, I have quite a few threads on this subject, in different counties, Lincs. Notts. Leics. Derbys....and now Norfolk, thanks for your reply, I believe that there was an Athow family at Brisley, Norfolk, way back, not that far really from other named counties, proving a connection though could be  challenging !!....Del.
