I have found an IGI individual record for John Littlewood marrying Mary Higginson in Hope 4 Oct 1789.

I wonder please if SKS who has access to the Hope PRs would be able to confirm this marriage and provide further details if available?

Berkshire Lookup Requests / Census 1861 - Norah Strange born Stanley

I have been searching for a Norah Strange born about 1860 for several years without encountering the right one. Tonight I entered the name in the 'new style' FamilySearch and got a hit on the 1861 census.

The result stated Nora Strange age 0 born Stanley, Berkshire daughter of head.

I couldn't actually find a Stanley in Berkshire, although there is a Stanley Hall Estate to the east of Twyford which may fit.

I would be EXTREMELY grateful if some kind soul is able to find the names of the parents and their address etc  for me.

I wonder if our restorers could please have a go at restoring this picture of my mother in law's mother, on her honeymoon in Montevideo in November 1909.

I thought it might be a nice Christmas present for MIL if it can be done!

I wonder if some of our experts could give me a date for this photo and hazard a guess at the age of the subject please?

 I don't have the original but as far as I can remember the frame was plain and nothing printed on front or back. The height was about 5 inches I guess.

Could SKS please do a look up for the birth of a Joseph Walker in Youlgreave around 1730?

Joseph is my 4GGF and with his new wife Sarah and children from his earlier marriage was the subject of a removal order from Tideswell to Youlgreave in Dec. 1773.
