Family History Beginners Board / W. H. Gregory - deadend, help please
« on: Tuesday 28 December 10 14:21 GMT (UK)  »
I am trying to trace my family tree and have reached my gt-grandfather (William Henry Gregory)down this particular line but am unable to get an exact dob or any record of date of death. It is believed he was born in Salford, Manchester around about 1871 and that his father was William Gregory. His wife was Annie, or Ann, nee Aldridge. I have a copy of their marriage certificate and that says they were 19 when married in Jan 1891. They went on to have several children, including my grandfather William Henry Gregory b 1895 (although I can't find his exact date of birth either). I do know they lived at James Street, Chorlton-upon-Medlock in the early 1890s and my gtgrf worked on the railways.

Please can anyone point me in the right direction of where to go next or dig up any info for me?

Many thanks.

PS This is my first post so I don't know whether I'm doing it right!!!
