Mayo / Cuffe Family
« on: Tuesday 08 July 14 13:43 BST (UK)  »
Hi, I can find my great grandparents on the 1911 Census (Patrick and Catherine Cuffe of Gortbrack, County Mayo) they married in 1899, but for some reason I can't find them on the 1901 census.  Any help appreciated.  :)

Hi Padraig,
The rough dates I have are
Patrick born 1870
Martin born 1874
Daniel born 1877
We could probably give or take a year on each.

Thanks
Geri  :)

I'm not sure when she returned between 1907 and 1910, she re-married and then came to live here in Scotland.

Hi Heywood,

Yes that's the correct information, I have the obituary's for the three brothers from the local paper in Lead, Lawrence County SD.  Two of them died in Gold mining accidents. I have contacted Philadelphia on how to obtain the marriage cert. as I have the marriage license. It was from the obituary that I found out they came from Roscommon. I always thought it was Westport as that's where my great grandmother went home to after the accident as she had no means of support out there in SD.  So I'm not up to date on where to start in Roscommon?

Thanks for your help
Geri
