I am researching the name Lane. I have Cyril Albert Charles lane's father as Albert Lane( I think) who was married to Clara May , if I have it right they had 3 children although I am not really sure as 2 of them seem to have been born very close together!! (Eileen and Roger) I seem to have come stuck now on Albert Lane, I cant seem to find any information, tried looking for a marriage certificate to see if I could find his fathers name but nothing!!Perhaps I am going in the wrong direction, I have Cyril's son (*) (living) can any one point me in the right direction please.. :)

Family History Beginners Board / Lane/Mallinson
« on: Sunday 06 November 11 20:00 GMT (UK)  »
Can anyone help me please, I have been asked by a friend to help him find out any information about his mother who died when he was born. All I can find at the moment is listed below.

Her name was Annie Mallinson and she married Cyril Albert Lane in 1945.

She died March 1946 at the age of 24.

To get any further which would my friend need to do, order a marriage certificate of parents or something else.

He knows nothing at all about his mother and her family except that both his parents were in the army.
