my uncle Samuel Dack died on board ship after the war (not sure if Royal or Merchant Navy)
I know he was buried at Dunkirk but do not have the date.
I cannot find anything on Ancestry for the date of Death so cannot get a death certifiacte to find out how he died I beleive he was between 30 and 40 years old.

Any help appreciated

My uncle was POW at Stalag, I want to find out more.
Could someone give me advice of how to do this please.
I cannot find the address of IRO in Peth.

Im going to send the forms off tomorrow so fingers crossed, it will cost £30 but if I get something back it will be worth it.

The box contains War Medal, Defence Medal, Africa Star and 1939-1945 Star.

Thank you for link,
as one of the medals is Africa Star I now now he would have been serving between 1940 & 1943.
