I was hoping somebody could help me with the pattersons further to determine there link (Lauras gf link back to Germany) but probably not so with so little info I might have to try and look at other branches for a hint???... So therefore ,You can close this thread if you like.

It's okay just got off phone with members of Lauras family I do apologise this guy is related he was known as Charlie (just taking to his g daughter) he is buried with his gdad John James Dunn I had been told he died before but I didn't realise it was one and the same guy...sorry...
I was confused with the Riley. It would've been Riseley. Rilley would be a misprint must've been Riseley due to mothers 2nd marriage
Charles was killed as was in army reserves doing something with them one weekend, jeep went too fast around corner and he got thrown out and killed instantly.
Yes thsnkyou well I was after some help with whom Laura had run off with which is strange as everyone keeps saying she went off with ra Allan so that side of things don't make sense.

Ps-it wasn't Riseley was it?? Lauras mum married 2x her first husband being frederick charles Patterson -deceased. (d 1937 ballarat benovlent b unknown open ground new Ballarat cemetery )
Lauras mum, Sarah Ellen Patterson (born Atkins-deceased) my hubbys g gma married again to Charles William clarence Riseley (deceased). Sarah died as Ellen Riseley cremated Fawkner.
Charles w c Riseley died and buried Castlemaine vic.
Not saying it was Riseley that you speak of though only name I know if amongst my research anywhere near Rilley.

Well then you must've definately discovered something that we don't know then which sister of Lauras are you referring to??..as this is definately unbeknown to us...
Could you be more specific as to this find please re Rilley etc because I haven't come across any of that at all or that Dunn at all.
Laura Apparantly Apparantly did run away from home when young at one point according to her granddaughter , these are my husbands relatives (Laura and my hubbys gma gladys Thelma Patterson (we're sisters) so I'm afraid I don't know much about the Dunns and I think her gkids are still trying to find things out too but this is new...
Could we perhaps (if you're willing that is) to talk about this off rootschat (you can keep it here if you wish just thought maybe easier in case some are living) or I can publicise my tree...(set to private atm) so people can see to help...

Now due to who and what I found it the Electorol rolls I am confused as to who this M-----y Allan is
because family said as did someone who was helping me find out about this Allan said the guy Laura
had ran off with was a R A Allan..so now I am confused as to who the M Allan is.
But it appears according to the electorol roll that Laura spent alot of time with M Allan..mmm so whats
their relationship?? mmm
