London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / LMA Lookups Please - BIRD
« on: Wednesday 23 April 08 13:06 BST (UK)  »
Dawn

I would be very grateful if on one of your future visits to the LMA you could look for the following baptisms for me.

Reuben Samuel BIRD bc 1811 - Westminster (Probably St James) Father William

Henry BIRD bc 1836 - Westminster (Probably St James) Father Reuben

Reuben married Elizabeth Burch CASTELL in 1832 at ChristChurch,Greyfriars, Newgate.  Elizabeth died in childbirth in 1840, so if you come across any siblings for Henry between these dates (1832 - 1840) I would be very interested.

Many Thanks
Rick :)

London & Middlesex Resources / RETURN OF OWNERS OF LAND 1873 - MIDDLESEX
« on: Monday 31 December 07 15:28 GMT (UK)  »
This is now online and records all those who owned an acre of more land at this date. It does not list property owners and only applies to rural Middlesex

http://www.uk-genealogy.org.uk/datafiles/landtaxsearch.html

It is probably best not to put the address in.  Just the surname and county.

I have a copy of the return so feel free to contact me if you would like to check any results that you find here.

Only put "Worcester" in the county box and not "Worcestershire." It is also probably best not to put the address in.  Just the surname and county.

I have a copy of the return so feel free to contact me if you would like to check any results that you find here.

Only put "Leicester" in the county box and not "Leicestershire." It is also probably best not to put the address in.  Just the surname and county.

I have a copy of the return so feel free to contact me if you would like to check any results that you find here.
