Thank you polarbear, I looked closely at the information as well and I think you're right. It definitely looks like Iceland. Sadly John has no middle name, he is called after his grandfather, who is also simply John.
He appears on the 1901 Census in Legaltan, Ballyshannon along with his father Thomas, sister and brothers.

Again, thank you for taking another look at John, I appreciate your help!
Back to the drawing board!

Antrim / Margaret Kerr 1862 Samuel Kerr 1875

I'm revisiting old ground with these two members of the Kerr family.
Margaret was born in Carrickfergus 3 October 1862.
She is on the 1911 census with her brothers John and William and Johns children as his wife had died.
I can't find any further information on Margaret, was there a marriage and her death.
Any help would be appreciated.
Her brother Samuel was born 23 Sep 1875 in Carrickfergus, his father was also Samuel and his mother was Margaret. Again any information would be appreciated.

Thank you

I have Thomas and Anna Buchanan on the 1901 Census, 4 church Street, Drumkeeran.
Their children Thomas 29, Bella 22, Anna 17, James 14

I can only find Thomas 39 and his wife Henrietta 26 with their children in 1911.

Can anyone help me with what happened to Thomas, Anna and their children by 1911.

Thank you

Thank you so much polarbear! This is definitely our Kate! Robert George is my husbands grandfather and her brother, along with William David.
Thank you for taking the trouble to find all this information for me.....it has totally changed our family tree.
We had Kate dying a spinster in Ballyshannon and I've been searching for John Anderson for a couple of years. It's amazing how you leave the search for a while, take a break and come back to it again and you strike gold!
The information you and aghadowey have found has been amazing, thank you!
