"Possibly December qtr 1840 (15/953) East Retford - there is a William (I realise this not Stephen, but either could be a middle name) WILKINSON and a Mary BENNETT, also a Sarah BENNETT on the same page."

William Wilkinson and Mary Bennett married 12 Nov 1840 North Wheatley St Peter and St Paul Church

Sarah Bennett married George White same day and place

hi,

Nottingham archives used to have copies of NFHS Journals not sure if they still do and I'm going there tomorrow so will have a look for you.

also found a James Blagg aged over 21yrs, bachelor, a Horse Dealer of East Markham and Hannah Snell marry at St Giles Church Elkesley, maybe the son of your James Blagg in case you don't have it.

hi,

First the NFHS disc for marriages only give Groom and Bride's names, church they married at and marriage date and no other info.

I'm going into Nottingham archives that have copies of the church marriages on micro finches so will have a look at the marriage for you, it was on 26 Nov 1892.

hi,

There is no christening or baptism for Annie so as Rosie says you will need birth Certificate, have you found her on any census records.

Hi Tempest2,

On my monument disc (which is an updated one)  there is no monument for Isaac Cheetham & Family for grave 7882.  However I can tell you that the Catherine Woodhall/Woodall buried in 1914 is the daughter of William Woodall and Catherine Cheetham (buried 1899).  If you like I can have a look at the burial records next time I'm in the archives to see if they confirm this.

Just a bit of advise for next time your in Nottingham and what to look for a grave get in touch with the Cemetery Department at Wilford Hill at cemeteries@nottinghamcity.gov.uk  and ask them to see if they can look for the grave for you and see if there is a headstone and if not mark the grave with a marker so you find the grave easier if you just what to see the grave site.  They may charge a fee I'm not sure.

Derbyshire Lookup Requests / Stanton by Dale Parish Records
« on: Wednesday 21 April 21 11:18 BST (UK)  »
Hi All,

Does anyone have access to Christening records for Stanton By Dale 1804 to 1812 I am look for children of Thomas Morral (various spellings) and his wife Elizabeth (nee Fox). I have all children born from 1813 including William who was born 1810 but christened in 1813, as they are on Ancestry. I think there should be at least one child named Richard. Or if there are any other Morral's in that time frame.

Thank you for any help on this.

All the best
