Update on this one.  I think i have found the missing child. Not Regina or Queenie but Florence!!!!  She is listed as a visitor aged 4 staying with what i believe to be family in Surrey.  Now i just need a trip to Sussex to see the parish records and order the certificate to prove my theory.

Kent / Re: jupp
« on: Sunday 05 October 08 01:16 BST (UK)  »
My husband has Jupps in his family and they seem to originate from Horsham, Sussex but they all seemed to move into Kent and London in about the late 1800's. The name Jupp does come up on the LDS website back to about the 1500's all in Horsham.

Not sure this of any help. When we get the opportunity will post more info about our Jupp line.

I haven't got a clue!!  I haved checked BMD for her, found the other children but no sign of a Queenie or Regina.  William and Harriett married in 1885 and Beatrice was born 1889. BMD won't let me search for any Regina's without a surname so i am now wondering if she was a cousin of sorts.

Many thanks for a speedy reply.  We have a list of 7 children in total but one of my aunts insists there was a Queenie or Regina as well who apparently had a somewhat colourful life!!  It was said that she had a son Douglas but was not married but i just cannot find any information on her.   ???

Many thanks once again.

Looking for details of TIMMS family in Steyning on 1891 census if at all possible.

Father is William, his wife is Harriett and possible children Beatrice and Lillian.

Family rumour is that there was also a child called Regina also known as Queenie but i cannot find any birth entry for a Regina Timms.

I know this is an old thread but i am also researching the Bassams (as i know it) of Shenfield.  Elizabeth married my g-g-grandfather (i think is only two g's) who was Timothy Dow.

Hope this message reaches you ok.

Thanks Peter.  Just thought that the parish registers might show some different information.

Herts Completed Lookup Requests / Parish Records Kelshall - CHAPMAN Baptism
« on: Sunday 27 August 06 23:14 BST (UK)  »
Would it be possible for someone to check the entry in the Kelshall Parish Records for October 1852.  I  know that our James Gibbons Chapman was baptised there at that time and that his father was Samuel Chapman and his mother was Charlotte Gibbons Chapman.  What i would like to know is what the entry actually says.  Charlotte died in February 1852 and we would love to know if that fact is recorded on the baptism record.
