Conahy, thank you for the information.
I did not realise that records only went to 1958 ( should have read properly).
The Bridget record I was after viewing was a death record, she lived at Clonmel and died I think around summer 2005, she never married.
Not sure now if I can get details or from where ?
regards

Thank you so much for your input Yokel, you have trained my thought on several other avenues.
The tree that claimed John as the father of Jacob, went as follows :
Jacob 1756, Sarah ? William 1753, John 1750.
John (Father) 1726.
William, Mx Elizabeth White 9/2/1725
William 16.2.1663 Mx Sarah King 14.12.1690 Yelverton
William 1625 Mx Elizabeth Woodcock( d.1702), in 1.10.1650 St Lawrence.

All seems very nice four more generations back but I cannot include without references/proof.

regards and Thanks again

Seems very likely that the John who married Elizabeth (who died in 1809), remarried in 1810 to the widow Elizabeth Tungate.
Other trees perception that a John Wymer was Jacobs father is my problem as Jacob was baptised in 1759, seems, along with a sister Sarah ? the age difference looking for his father would be possibly 1730's, could that be a John ?

Thanks for your reply Yokel.
I was hoping to see an entry in the parish records for Jacob under births, but to no avail, only a baptism, which does not indicate the person was born in South Walsham St Mary.
Your references for John and Elizabeth are interesting but involve them moving from place to place regularly, it may be possible ?, Jacob went on to Moulton St Mary where he married twice and brought up a large family. All the children were baptised there without fail, until Jacob died.
There was a local blacksmith name of William, who on your theory could have been a brother, who may have moved to Moulton with him,?
As I have said John Wymer's wife Elizabeth died in 1809 aged 27 so she cannot be the mother of Jacob, made me think she was possibly a second spouse ?
My search goes on ?

Once again I ask for help from RootsChat.
I have an ancestor, Jacob Wymer, b.circa 1756.
He was married twice, once  to a Susannah Gilbert and then a Elizabeth Moll.
It is about Jacob that I pose a question.
Many family trees have him born in South Walsham to parents John Wymer and Elizabeth, but I cannot find any evidence to verify this, and cannot include this in my tree.
On page 7/29 in 1759  in the South Walsham St Mary Parish Records there is an entry Sarah & Jacob, children of John and Elizabeth Wymer, baptised December 23rd.
I cannot find his birth record.
On page 26/29 in 1809 August 31st there is a record that Elizabeth wife of John Wymer, died aged 27 years ( That would make her born in 1782) much later after Jacob was born in 1750's.
This suggests that Elizabeth was a second wife of John Wymer ?
Have I missed a trick here ?, South Walsham St Mary could well be where he was born (There is also a Wymer Lane locally) but can you see a link anyone please ?
Thank you.

Hi Zukan,
I have had Samuels birth certificate for many years and consider myself the formost authority on him and his family.
I am privy to information from Samuel, that being personal, not even his family knew about.
There was never a confusion with Samuel knowing his birthday, April 13th was always celebrated.
Samuel was always held in high regard by whom he thought to be his sister's, Maud, Lilian, May and Rose, but he found out that they were his aunts !.
This I believe was borne out by Samuel when he moved to Kenton, Middlesex in 1950 from Islington, London, there living with his wife, under the surname Meridith.
