Not as yet. The family moved to London later. Father and son becoming solicitors. The son being publicly whipped for stealing whilst they were in Lincoln

Oh the joys of family history

You're welcome. Have you tried contacting the archives in Rumbold street Lincoln ?

Thank you for the extra information

Sorry haven't been here.
Pre 1849 the Cornhill was used for open air sales and in 1849 the Cornhill market was built there.
It included a cellar for storage, which I remember it being used as a pub called the Cornhill Vaults in the early 70's.
It is located just off but part of the  high street, so I think it's the correct area.
Just a bit of history for you  :).

Would make sense

I wonder if it was in the Cornhill. Oats, corn etc were sold there at one time.

Thanks again

Hi ,

I had a look at some of the burials in Cork for various cemeteries which are online at the
www.corkarchives.ie   and I did find a burial for Maud.

This is the entry however it is not very clear. it states she is a widow on the burial entry.  Difficult to read what her occupation is listed as.

https://publications.corkarchives.ie/view/173026802/172/#zoom=true    If you have difficulty reading this  go into website www.corkarchives.ie  then click on online collections then cemeteries then St. Finbarrs cemetery for years 1908-1920 and it's page  172.  I did have to scroll from Dec 21 when she died up to January but finally found her.

Hope this helps

Mary

She is buried at St. Finbarr's cemetery, Glasheen Road, Cork in Section G North Row 7 Grave 15.   There might not be any headstone..

Yeas that’s correct

Probate entry shows her as a spinster and her brother Joseph Haydn Lumb was granted Administration

No she was in Grimsby

Ok, did she live in Cork in 1911?
