Hi  l have been researching the Mitchel family for yrs they were in Rushton spencer,,,leek  and  cloudside Macclesfeild in the 1800s ,,my earliest record was Emmanuel he was a nailor by trade as were most of the Mitchels ,,my sister has recently had her DNA results back and a thomas Mitchel from Burslem has turned up born 1714 ,,,as l have looked through matches myself on ancestry a few months ago ,,l did find a thomas Mutchel ,and googled him it gave my such a lot of info about him but l never saved it has l didn't think he was linked ,,it did say he was a potter and had a good business ,,has anyone got any info on this man or about the pottery of this time ,l have a direct line to the Mitchels my grt grandmother was a Mitchel from Bosley Macclesfield  thanks eda
