I am looking for the family of William Aldwin, born about 1805, West Drayton, Middlesex and possibly living in Hillingdon, Uxbridge, Middlesex
His wife was Sarah, born about 1805, Slough, Bucks
and children:
William, born about 1831, Slough, Middlesex,
Mary, born about 1833
Harriett, born about 1835
Thomas, born about 1837
Robert, born about 1841
Eliza, born about 1849
all in Middlesex.

Caribou: I did find them on the 1841 census, but didn't pick up the face that Jeremiah was born in Ireland. I'll follow up his death certificate. Thanks for all that.
Eliza, in fact, married a William Aldwin in 1854 at West Drayton.
I have found a possible marriage for Jeremiah on 14 April 1827 to Esther Foster at Hillingdon, Middlesex. That came from the Parish Records collection on FindMyPast. I wonder if I will get any more information if I see the actual entry.
Past Master: It looks as if Esther may have been married again to Henry Pearce. I'll have to do a bit more research on that one.

Thanks Liz. I think that could be Caroline. She remarried in 1873, so could well have been a widow in 1871 and she was born in Chislehurst. Perhaps she couldn't look after William and work too. I think I have found a marriage for Eliza in 1870 to George Albert Webb, so she too would have left home by then. I'm still not sure if Caroline was her Mother. I don't know who John Beckford was. I'll have to do some more ferriting.

I am looking for David Beckford born about 1830, his wife Caroline born about 1841 and married in 1864 in Bromley, Kent. Also their 2 children, Eliza born 1853, Deptford and William born 1866, Deptford, Kent.
I need to check Caroline's and Eliza's birth dates as the mother is only 12 years older than the daughter. Caroline could, of course be David Beckford's second wife.
Any help would be much appreciated.
