Ive just came accross a "stray" Hanna Hewick Born East Cowton. moved in With John Hood. Bit stupid but is a stray just that someone who has been taken in off the street or would they just lodge then move on?

I have an old photo with writing on the back making ref to a big flood at Sutton/mablethorpe with loss of life. I know there was a flood in 1953 but was there one before then. It sounds funny but The Actor Wilfrred Pickles was mentioned.

John Heslop born Coundon Durham 1854 (Labourer) married Elizabeth ann born Coundon 1860 had a son william heslop born easington 1880 died 1963. Im looking for either John or Elizabeths parents. Sorry but dont know elizabeths maiden name

Im having trouble finding a marrage year for my gggrandad arthur smith he was born Dec1868 and died 1949 his wife sarah ann born 1874 died Nov 1947 also havnt found wifes maiden name. thay had at least 1 son joseph william smith who died in 1984

I am looking for details of my great grandfather Arthur smith born Dec 1868 married to Sarah Ann born 1874. I can't find any mention of wifes maiden name or year of marrage. they were both buried in Houghton le Spring Durham.
