Two direct ancestors of mine died at 2 Charlotte St in 1914, James and Elizabeth Baird.

Can't see any direct relationship, sorry.  :-\

Wow, your Grt Granny is one of my missing branches, I would love to know the next few generations.

You are correct about Margaret Baird being related to my Thomas Baird, she was his sister.

She married John Neilson and had 8 kids, when she died, he married Catherine Twaddle, your Great Grannies mum.

I believe your grt granny had two sisters and a brother.

Trolley loads of books have been given away for months ...  :o

Last time I was there, I enquired about what was happening, they got all sheepish and finally said they were all double copies and space was being cleared.

I doubted that they would have extra copies of some of those books on the trolley and grabbed half a dozen cemetery record books.

When i went back a week later there was another trolley load ...  :(


Maybe its along the lines of everything is on the net now and NOBODY reads books anymore.  ::)
