Thanks.  Didn't think she died so late, Michael already had 2 children to Elizabeth Bowness [Rylands] in 1896 but didn't marry her until 1901. Would like to find out what happened to his son Michael Farrell, he was 8 in 1896 and being beaten by his stepmother must have went back to the workhouse. No trace of him living with the family. :-\

Looking for the death of Elizabeth Farrell [Rowley] at Garlands, Penrith. She had a son Michael Farrell about 1889 and he was in a workhouse by 1997 as his mother had died and his father Michael Farrell was living with Elizabeth Bowness [Rylands]. He did not live with his father's new family.  [from old British Newspapers.]

Thanks Anne,  Not exactly the words I remember, but I knowing my Grandfather he would have made up his own words, and his father was Irish.  For some reason I've had the tune buzzing in my head for the past week, maybe he's trying to contact me!. Will add this to his tree.

My Grandfather used to sing a song - about only having 4/9d and taking his girlfriend to the pictures and buying her sweets etc, anybody know the words?

Thanks Rodeo,  Didn't have the stillborn but think the parents might be Robert Muircroft & Catherine Fox.
Aaron's parents were Andrew Muircroft & Rebecca Leitch.

All the Moorcroft/Muircrofts I've found so far can be traced back to Robert Moorcroft & Jane Mills in Keady, Armagh.

Thanks Lodger,  I have them all on my tree, now I know where they are.  I did find Jessie Cairns's family obelisk. Her husband Charles Muircroft was killed in 1900 and is buried in Oakfield cem, Ohio.
The Robert Muircroft in Glen rd was married to Jane Steele but they were apart when he was in Glen rd. He was the twin brother of Charles.  Their father Andrew who was married to Jane [McCulloch] Moorcroft then Mary Fagan is in the Globe cem but I couldn't find a headstone.

The Browns were at Bogside farm in 1911 and moved to Lower Carbarns before 1917.  When we travelled from Hamilton to Garrion bridge my Dad would point across the river to where his grandparents lived.
