Huntingdonshire / Re: Houghton area baptism lookup please?

Thankyou Annette. This information is of great help to eliminate this line of research.

My lineage is of the Sisman’s. And the other person is researching Ann Tivett ,nee Flanders. As we DNA match, she was connecting the father of Ann, James Flanders as the same one who married Elizabeth Sisman.

This below is of my lot (interesting as it has a niece Pheobe Flanders)
In 1841 census, James & Elizabeth Flanders are mistranscribed as 2 separate households but on image together as one household.
In 1851 census James Flanders 45 Holme,HUN & wife Elizabeth 42 & George Sisman 67.
In 1861 census James Flanders b 1806 Holme,living with wife Elizabeth 52 & Pheobe Flanders 16 niece b Connington.

Thanks
Kerri

Ann FLANDERS married Thomas LIVETT in 1842.
Im searching through the SISMAN lineage. Another person searching who is coming up the line is descended from Ann LIVETT,nee FLANDERS.
We DNA match and this looks to be our common linkage.
Getting late here. Will check in the morning thanks

No, that Ann married Thomas DING in 1837. She was Elizabeth's sister.

Huntingdonshire / Houghton area baptism lookup please?

Could someone please lookup the baptism of Ann SISMAN (or FLANDERS) born c 1824 in Houghton area. She was the daughter of James FLANDERS. Trying to get further confirmation that her mother was Elizabeth SISMAN.

Ann would have been born when Elizabeth was only about 16 years old so she may been baptised as SISMAN with mother as Elizabeth ,a single woman.  James FLANDERS & Elizabeth SISMAN married later in 1840. Before I send off for their marriage certificate,(which will probably just say they were both of Full age & not their actual ages-so no real help),I thought Id ask on here if anyone can find her baptism record.

In the 1851 census, Elizabeth FLANDERS is with her husband James & her father George SISMAN. Ann FLANDERS married in 1842 –no need for more info.

Thanks for your help

Thankyou for your brilliant work. They all look great-its hard to pick my favourite. Definetly did not like having it as "pea soup green" so lovely to be able to print & hang on the wall.
