hi my ggg grandmas brother was alive and married to his wife in 1991 in durham as a farm hand.

in 1901 i find his wife with her new husband 20 yrs younger and i can not find a death for my ggg uncle.

names are enoch cadwallader born 1847 born shropshire.
wife ann born 1851 willington shropshire.

children are
                   sarah 1875
                  enoch 1883
                  thomas william 1885
                  john 1889

they are in 1901 census with a john thomas gradon as there step dad.
like i say he is 20yrs the junior of his wife.
they are in durham.

its one of my mysterys that im stuck on and can not tie the loose ends on.
did he die or did his wife re marry any way. ;D

thank you for any advice

and then for it to stay of for half the day due to unforeseen circumstances  ::)
still i found him  ;) ;D.
but boy i think next door thought me and hubs were having a humdinger of a argument with me shouting at the lap top  :P

im really wanting to find some of these toghether in 1841

i  wish i could answer this  but sadly my dad has passed away and i can not ask him.i just remeber northumberland being on them.but yes we did live in felling and i went to fella park school.i also remeber that.one of those things now thats going to drive me mad.dad was origanaly from consett maybe he got it wrong. :o one thing is for sure it doesent help my quest to find my ancesters parents though.thank you for your comments and help .dwalin

i found it in the 1891 census for durham.

john white age 48

martha white age 21

hannah white age 10

eleanor age 3.

no sign of isabella though or the others.
john is down as a clogger though.

the address is
6 church street
 sunderland
holy trinity

will keep looking a bit though
