Thank you for replying. I have followed your suggestions. I have found The listing from the card. I have tried to down load a couple of bird clips but the result is very poor. The film is in 4K and I have down loaded many successfully. However using this method resulted in the clip running very slowly. Previously the pictures on the card would be visible as thumbnails and the ones for download were selected and the downloaded result was fine. This worked from both camera and card reader. I am hoping I can restore this but I have no idea how to do it. All suggestions gratefully received.

Thank you for replying. There is no problem with the cards, all photos are visible on the camera. I have tried 2 different cards on the reader but only one on the camera as older cards were with a different camera. I do not have Panasonic software. I was expecting the pictures to appear, I think through Windows media player. Certainly I have in the past been able to copy pictures successfully without Panasonic software but no longer.

Technical Help / Copying pictures from camera to PC
« on: Sunday 07 November 21 12:23 GMT (UK)  »
I have a Panasonic FZ 82 camera and Windows 10 on my PC. I have previously transferred  photos/videos fro camera to PC without difficulty. I have done this direct from the camera and using a card reader. The pictures would appear and I would select the files for downloading. Now with both camera and card reader I get nothing. I know the cable and ports are fine as I have tested them with a remote hard disc. Using google for advice has just left me totally bewildered. Any advice gratefully received but please in very simple terms!
Thank you

I have relatives who were involved with the Primitive Methodists in Cirencester who died between 1910 and 1920. Where are they likely to have been buried?  I would like visit and see if I can find their graves.

Roscommon / Re: Mary Kate Campbell b Roscommon town 7 April 1885

Thank you Heywood
As more siblings emerge in the thread I have decided to give the full listing.
According to the 1911 census Henry & Catherine had 15 children, 12 still living. 2 of the 3 dead have been identified, both Bridget, 1888 and 1890.
Of the 12 living 11 have been identified:
7/4/1885 Mary Catherine – subject of this thread
4/6/1887 Martin - known to have gone to USA
19/3/1891 Henry – m Dora King 1913 @ Manhattan. 3 children 20/6/1913 Ellen (found as Aileen and Eileen on census) 1915 Joseph. 1919 Henry who died in 1928 and was the subject of the newspaper item mentioned above
26/9/1982 Charles Francis c1912 went to Montclair (New Jersey). d 1934 Montclair. Obit in Montclair Times  24/4/1934 refers by name to his parents in Roscommon and his surviving 4 brothers and 3 sisters with helpfully their locations. It names his wife as Beatrice Egan and daughter Kathaleen (sic).
19/12/1894 Christina -in 1901 and 1911with her grand parents -under Dina in 1911.
9/4/1897 Joseph. Killed in action in France 11/12/1916
27/2/1900 Delia Died England 11/8/1969 verified by granddaughter
23/3/1902 Patrick. Went to USA. In New York 1934 from Charles obit.
28/10/1903 Dennis Edward d Roscommon 21/1/1974
21/4/1906 Herbert Coman to USA. First sibling I researched due to unusual name. Research completed.
Charles' obituary refers to his sisters by their married names. Mrs John Gray who is Delia, Mrs Thomas J Healy who is Mary and Mrs William Grimm of Brooklyn. It states that Mary is from Montclair whereas 1930 and 1940 census finds her in Manhattan. Hopefully just poor reporting.
With regard to Mrs Grimm the only known unaccounted for sister is Christina. The Montclair Times
of 9/5/1931 has a death notice of Martin J Campbell at the home of his sister Mrs William Quinn. Without proof as yet I think Grimm is wrong and should be Quinn. Martin is not mentioned in the obituary.
Sorry if this is information overload. Any information on thee Marriage and children of Mary and Mrs Grimm/Quinn much appreciated.

Thank you for your replies. Dathai, In 1910 census Mary Campbell was a servant a the address in Montclair. This supports the case for her going to the USA. Several of her siblings did- a newspaper account of the death of one of their children in New York refers to the child's grandparents in Slaveen. Heywood I think it could be the family but I have no evidence of  marriage or birth/ baptism of children to support this marriage to support this. If it is the correct family the 1930 census has her under Katherine in Manhattan.

Thank you for your replies. My struggle is with what happened to her after 1901. Did she go to America? Did she marry Thomas Healy & have 6 children or did she stay in Ireland? Checking the results of my original research has engendered serious doubts as to the correctness of my research. Sadly having recorded my findings I cannot find my original research notes.
