Kent Completed Lookup Requests / 1841 Census Butler - Boughton Malherbe

Hello everyone,

I am looking for the following family on the 1841 Census, so if anyone can find them i would be very happy!

Here is the entry from the 1851 Census:

HO107/1618/306/19
Lud Farm (?), Boughton Malherbe

James Butler Head 62 Farm Labourer born Monchelsea
Elizabeth Butler Wife 61 born Headcorn
John Son 32 Farming 17 acres born Boughton Malherbe
Frederick Butler Grandson 5 born London

Someone kindly looked up the son John for me a while ago on the 1841 (he was living with another family working) but there were no other butlers in the village, so where were his parents?? Might they have been in a neighbouring village?

If anyone could track James & Elizabeth down it would be much appreciated!

Derbyshire / Baptism Before 1837 in Ilkeston

Hi All,

Apologies as I am sure this has been asked many times before. I have a marriage cert for SAMUEL GILBERT which took place in 1856 in Ilkeston, his age is given as 22.
Father's name is Joseph Gilbert. Is there any way to find Samuels Baptism?? He was Born in Ilkeston. I would love to know who is mother was. I know her surname was Taylor. Also How would i go about finding his parent's marriage??

I have check IGI but no joy. Any ideas??

Hi everyone,

If anyone has access to the 1841 or 1851 kent census, would they be able to look up the following family for me? Not sure if they were married at the time of the 1841 census but would love to see were Charles Snr was living and with who on the 1841.

I was wondering whether anyone might be able to find the family below in the 1841 or 1851 census?

Here are the details i have from the 1861 census

Samuel Gilbert head 28 ilkeston
Charlotte wife 22 Shepshed Leics
Anne m daughter 1 Ilkeston
Charlotte daughter 1 month Ilkeston
William Green Father-in-law 56 Alfreton Derbyshire
Herbert Green brother-in-law 17 Ilkeston
Emma Green sister-in-law 15 ilkeston

I am looking for Samuel and the in-laws on either earlier census, i think they might be related to samuel and not actually be in-laws, as Charlotte's maiden name was Grimley we think

Lincolnshire / Burial in Lincoln 1828?

Hi everyone,

How can i find details of a death from 1828? I have checked LDS website and nothing on there. The person I am trying to find is John Worsdale born 1766, died 1828. I am pretty sure he was buried in Lincoln. I would love to know where he is buried and exactly when he died, is there any way to find this out?

p.s have just looked again at the info i have and he may have been buried in Donington or Northorpe??

Hi All,

I was hoping someone might be able to find the following person on the 1841 or 1851 Census (1841 in particular)?

Details I have are...

Elizabeth Scothern, born in Bingham c.1830, her father was Samuel Scothern who was a Bricklayer. Not sure where he was born but I assume they were living in Bingham in 1841-51.

Would really love to find details on Samuel. Elizabeth married in 1850 so she wouldn't be living with Samuel on the 1851 census.

Any info would be great!

Hi ya,

I was wondering whether anyone would be able to look up the following person for me on the 1841 or 1851 census?

Alice Cuckow born Boughton Malherbe about 1833. Her Father should be William Henry Cuckow.

By the 1851 census she may have already been married to a john Butler, also from Boughton Malherbe born about 1822.

Any info would be great
