Thank you for your replies :).

I'm all new to I'm still finding the right websites and sources.
Yes, they lived in the Battersea area, and she would be 41 when the 1911 census would have been taken.

This sounds a silly question, but would July be in the September quarter?
And a beginners question, but where would I have to go to get a death certificate?

Thank you again,
Chris

Hello,

Have traced back all of my maternal great-great grandparents, however there is one relative I'm having a bit of trouble on.
Born 25th August 1869 in St.George Hanover Square to James Barnet Bolingbroke and Catharine Railton, married Albert Edward Goldsmith on 7th March 1896 in Wandsworth.

She is the informant on her husbands death certificate in 1910, however cannot find any records or information of her after that. I have found a death date of 9th July 1931, but that was only on the internet and there was no official documentation, so I'm not trusting it!

I am continuing the family history from another relative who passed away recently, and it looks like he had the same problem.

Any information would be much appreciated!

I do apologise, I'm new to all the family history, and it was my first post  :-[.

Thank you for your quick reply and the warm welcome!  :)
I was hoping to find out about my great-grandparents above, who are deceased, however one of my grandparents are still alive, so I've modified my first post.

Thank you for the reference too.

Hello,

Currently, I have no certificates and no knowledge of dates etc.
My granddad's father is called John Horn and he was married to Mary ?.
My grandma's father is unknown, but her mother was called Elsie, and she was in her second marriage with a man called Rudy, from what my dad can remember.
My grandma's maiden name is Tyson.

They are both from the Brighton and Hove area.

If anyone is also related or knows of them, any help would be much appreciated.

Chris
