I would be very grateful for any improvements that can be made to the quality of this wedding photograph, particularly the fading on the left top, to tone down the brightness of the lady's white blouse sitting next to the bride & also the baby sitting on his mum's knee

I'm trying to find out what ten shillings & also eighty pounds in 1899 would be worth today. I have tried using various sites but nothing is coming out the same  :-\I would be grateful for any help.

Thanks Ciderdrinker I had found that record but it has a different Reg Number to the Prisoner of War record, it is him though, perhaps he joined up twice. It seemed to be a thing the young men in my family did at that time, as William's brother Thomas joined up age 15 years & told them he was 19. He served in France for many months until he was spotted by another soldier from Conwy his home town. He was sent home immediately. Thanks again for the time you have spent looking.
