Amazing!! RK and Sandra, thank you so so much for your time and research into the Leaches and their descendants - it's all very interesting and exciting. I had no idea that most, if not all, of Richard's siblings had emigrated to Canada also. My Richard Leach and Charlotte (Charlotte Lune emigrated 1926) were married York, 1930 and it looks like most of the family settled in and around that area before spreading out. It's going to take a while for me to piece all of this together but with such a glut of info and people found I'm very optimistic of making contact with some descendants. I just hope someone (and there should be, amongst the host of descendants you've discovered) shares my interest... and indeed your interest in family history. The irony is that back in the 70's my own parents thought about and indeed registered with the Canadian Embassy in London with the intent of emigrating also. My father at that time unaware he had a great aunt living there which could have made that dream a reality. It wasn't until I started with the family history in the 90's that I discovered Charlotte had married a Leach in Toronto in 1930 and died there in the 1980's in her 90's. Sad that she seemingly ended her life in a rest home, a widow and childless. I'd like to think she had at least some contact with her extended family (there were so many of 'em!).
Thank you so much to both of you. I'm truly indebted to you amazing people!
