Thanks Sue

You are wonderful!!! That fits 6 pieces of the puzzle into place. I know that son William was educated at Christ's Hospital ( the old blue coats school ) in London which is probably where he was in 1841 at age 16. I am now wondering if the other Aldrich sons were placed there as well. That is of course if they survived childhood.

thank you again for your help.

I know only that children Charles, William & Francis had sailed for Australia by 1849, so will only appear in the 1841 Census.
Unsure if any of the other children even survived infancy.

Hello Out there

Hoping someone can help find this family.

Joseph    Bland b 1810 Yorkshire
Grace      Bland b 1817 (age varies considerably)
Henry      Bland b 1833 Clayton Bradford
Matthew  Bland b 1836 Clayton Bradford
Elizabeth Bland b 1846 Bradford

Found the Family on the 1841 Census living at "Fiddlers Farm" Clayton Yorkshire. Joseph was a Stuff Weaver by trade, Grace is recorded as 20 yrs old.

Unless I missed them I could not find them on the 1851 Census in Clayton, Bradford or Northowram which was where the birth of there youngest child was registered in 1853.

Any help would be really appreciated.
