Lincolnshire Lookup Requests / Help with Mary Ann Dalton
« on: Wednesday 15 August 12 19:40 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to find Mary Ann Dalton nee Elwes on the 1871 and 1881 census which may lead me to when and where she died.
Mary was baptised in Cowbit in 1793, she married Thomas Dalton in 1814 in Cowbit.
In 1841 she is a publican in Peakhill.
In 1851 she is an innkeeper at the Bell Inn Cowbit
In 1861 she is a cottager aged 68 living in Cowbit Road.

After that i cannot find her.

The register office have checked all the deaths from 1861-1871 in Spalding and its sub districts but cannot find a match.

Any help to find her would be appreciated.

Durham Completed Look up Requests / Looking for Jane Ann Bryant
« on: Wednesday 15 August 12 00:33 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to find some information about a Jane Ann Bryant. She was born in 1873 in Stockton, father James, mother Eliza.
I have Jane and her family on the 1881 and 1891 census.
I think she married after that but the only match i can find is one in Stockton to either a Alfred Finn or a John Nicholson but i cannot find her under any of those names in a census after 1891.

Jane died when she was about 101. I have a picture of her when she was a 100.
She was my Grandmas aunt so i would like to find out about her life and where and when she died and add a story to the picture.
 Any help would be appreciated.

All i know is the 69th regt do you know what the full title would be.
I can only find Sarah on the 1881 census she remarried a spencer pryer, who was also a soldier in 1871 in chatham kent. She died in 1889. it says on the 1881 census she was born in Ireland so i will have to follow that, i think
