I have a booklet on Carlisle World War One Memorials and Trinty Church is not in the listings, but have you tried Carlisle Museum Of Military Life, I know they have a collection Memorial Plaques that have been relocated and recovered  from various local locations. Also on Google it states the current location of the plaques. as the east end of south wall at Holy Trinty Church, Stanhope Road/Wigton Road, Carlisle which I know is about 5 minute walk from the original Trinty Church. It states two Bronze plaques, WW1 and WW2 , the inscriptions are legible and listed, details for 224 names.

Hope this helps, if your not local to Carlisle, I could go and look for you if need be.

Thank you for your reply. I have Abraham and family on the 1841 and 1851 census in Cheshire, England. Then I have Jacob and his family in 1881 at Redcar, Yorkshire. The 1861 and 1871 census elude me at this present time.

Thank you so much for your time and information in you replies.  I have only just started researching the family and the fact that they went to America was a surprise to the family in England, it seems one son Jacob Barrett stayed behind as he had already married in 1862 to a Catherine Robinson and his four brothers and mother travelled to America.
Thankyou very much, Sandra, Erato and Rosie 99 and i will start to collate all your information.

I followed the family in Cockermouth, Benjamin and Jane as possible parents, but I realise now that family in Workington is more likely the right line.
