« on: Saturday 19 October 19 12:50 BST (UK)  »
Good afternoon all.
Could someone help me locate Peter's parents please? He was baptised 14th March 1788 Hunslet Chapel Leeds Yorkshire. I have his father Samuel Hanforth but need to find Samuels marriage. If anyone can help I'd be grateful. Any additional info would be most welcome.
Thanks
Maggie

Afternoon all.
I sent for the marriage cert and it showed Joseph was a widower. I've tried to find a previous marriage between 1867 and 1876 but no luck. Can anyone else find it, please?
Thanks
Maggie

Afternoon all.
Could someone have a look to see if they can find Joseph's birth and parents, please? He married Jane Hogg Dec.q. 1876  but he is not on any early census that I can find.
Thanks

Good evening all.
I'm helping a friend to look up her ancestors and we seemed to have hit a brickwall. This is what she has.
1851 census living at Union St Saint George the Martyr, St George Southwark London and Surrey. Birth place Southwark, Surrey 1814
Married to "Sarah"  1851 says her birthplace Clerkenwell Middlesex.....1861 says Bromley Kent. Same family is with them.
1861 census living at 5,Neate St Camberwell, London & Surrey
She would like to find "Sarah's" surname and his parents, please.
On both census James is a Floorcloth Trowler/Printer

Hope you can help
Thanks

Hi NG.
I did think about that to be honest. William's family were dead in 1803 except his Uncle? (long story!)Thomas, possibly living in Granby-cum-Sutton with Sarah, his wife and Mary, his sister who was only 11yrs. Is there anyway of finding out who Mary was living with between 1801 and 1819? Her father had remarried in Rauceby  in 1801.
Mary married William Bateman in 1819 in Granby-cum-Sutton.
Thanks again
Maggie

Thank you so much for all your help. It is very disappointing to reach a dead end. I often wonder why there wasn't a member of Elizabeth's family as witnesses at her marriage. There were 2/3 Granger families in the same area with births around the same time.
Thanks for all your support again.
