Berkshire Lookup Requests / Ann WRIGHT nee REFFELL, married 1788 to Richard in Bisham

I have just come across Ann REFFELL who married Richard WRIGHT in Bisham in 1788. In the marriage record Ann is of this parish. I cannot locate her in my trees and would like to know her birth year or her birth place so I can try to find her parents and siblings. Also I do not know her death year or place. Please can any one tell me which brewers there were in or near Hayes or Uxbridge in 1871? In the census that year my greatgrandfather Edwin REFFELL is "foreman in brewery". I wonder if that brewery has any connection to the REFFELL breweries. In 1881 census he is a grocer at 2 Carshalton Grove, "Pearly King" in Carshalton, Surrey and I wonder if that is the name of a public house since he worked at a brewery in 1871.

Please would someone look up the christenings for 2 June 1784 for Saint Paul, Deptford, Kent? Is there anyone with names faintly resembling James REFFELL christened there on that date? According to an IGI record there is but I cannot find any such christening. Thank you for helping.

Hello,

I am not sure where to put this but Emmanuel Jabob Abasi REFFELL was engaged as a greaser on the ship New Toronto in Liverpool in 1923 and married in Manchester to Gwendolin P RICHINSON in 1931. He was born in Calabar, South East Nigeria in 1900. After 1935 I have no information on him. There is a military merchant seaman record of him but I am unsure of the year. I am searching the place and year of his death and of his ancestry. Thank you for any information you can give me on him.

For John REFFELL 1827-1891 and Amelia nee CHAMPNES I have 3 children: William born 1857, Henry Joshua born 1860 both in Pimlico and one whose name I cannot find.John was born in Epsom or Dorking. Thank you for any help.

Hello, I cannot find my granduncle Horace Edwin Joseph REFFELL in the 1891 census. In the 1881 census he is with his family in Carshalton, parents Edwin and Fanny, recorded as Hource RIFFELLE. He was born in Horton or Slough in the June qtr of 1865. In 1894 he married Florence Grace nee TOOMEY in Chorlton, Manchester. In 1901 they are recorded  as RAFFELLE in Warrington. He died in 1902 in Orford Barracks, Warrington. Searches with those surnames did not find him in 1891. I have so far tried to find him searching with his 3 first names/variants and  surname *f*, *s*, *b*, *c*, and *d*. My computer is very slow and it is difficult to navigate at the moment. Thank you for any help and please forgive me if I have sent this to the wrong forum.

While searching someone else in FamilySearch I found a marriage for James REFFELL in 1859 in Hunslet, Yorkshire. I could not find it in FreeBMD. The Family Search site says it is in vol.9, page 245, line 18, registration quarter 3. Please would someone give me the name of the bride, and if it is there, the age of the groom? I am trying to sort out in my trees all the James REFFELLs I have found. Thank you for helping.

Please would someone help me to find Henry and Amelia REFFELL nee FIPPS and their children in the 1841 census? The only one I can find is Emma born 1825, chr in Epsom like all but one of her siblings. Henry and Amelia married in 1814 in Ashtead. Henry was chr 19 June 1789 as REFFELD. In my trees I have John and Ann REFFELL nee BURCHATT as parents of Henry married to Amelia but I am unsure about that.I have another Henry chr 22 May 1796 in Albury married to Elizabeth nee STACEY, whom I have found together with wife and children in Guildford.  The parents of Henry chr in Albury are William and Hannah nee SMITH. Hello,

Please would someone help me to sort out some Richard REFFELLs? In the 1861 census there is a Richard REFFELL born in Bermondsey in 1853, son of George 1816 and Eliza 1819 with siblings George 1839, Eliza 1840, Benjamin 1846, Sarah 1849 and Matilda 1851. I cannot find any of them in FreeBMD and I cannot place them in my trees. Therefore I doubt that they are REFFELLs. If they are then they are a new family to me and I do not know anything at all about them.
